Online TV

I don't know how many of you that will be reading this knows about watching tv online but
I do come across quite a few people who are online and use the computer on a regular basis
and don't know that you can watch tv online.

Best of all if you have one of the new HDTV's (within the past couple years) they have a PC
input on them
If you have this type of connection on your tv you just need a standard computer a vga cord
and a headphone patch cable and you are ready to go.

here is a list of some of the sites we have found for tv.
  1. www.hulu.com  if you missed something on tv last night its usually here
  2. www.veoh.com not sure how long they will be around they filed for bankruptcy
  3. http://retrovision.tv/ lots of old movies
  4. http://www.free-tv-video-online.me/  tons of tv shows and movies just lots of pop up ads
  5. http://www.crackle.com/  lots of stuff to watch
  6. http://www.nbc.com/ , http://www.fox.com/ , http://abc.go.com/ and many others
Most of the large networks allow you to watch from their websites. This allows us to use this
as a DVR which if we missed something last night we can watch it the next day. If this is
something you would like to try out just let us know, we found that we don't need to be
paying 50 dollars a month or more for cable / satellite like we were and just watch all the tv
we want and more. For local programing we just got an "over the air HD antenna" and we get
about 15 channels that come in clearer than the cable did.

wow looking at the numbers we save 600 dollars a year I think that's well worth watching
tv when I want and pausing, rewinding, fast forwarding when I choose
