Java exploits and you.... :)

A couple months ago we had a big scare about vulnerabilities about Java and the government suggested disabling it until there was a new patch.  Well after a week or so we had a patch for it Version 7 update 7 but people were still concerned that there were other flaws and issues that needed to be fixed so Java has been trying to fix these updates and the latest of this day  3/5/13 they have Version 7 update 17 so I suggest you make sure you are updated.

As I have been working on computers I have noticed that most people have very old versions of Java installed on the computer and do need to uninstall that and update to the latest version.. the older versions don't update like they should

To uninstall any older versions of Java just click on the START button and go to your control panel, a list of categories will come up and one of them will state uninstall a program this should be pretty much similar in windows XP, Vista and 7

Just click on this and it will load up a list of programs that are installed in your computer and you can check to see what version of Java you have, if its anything below Version 7 update 7 I would suggest uninstalling it

After you are done uninstalling your old version of Java just to to JAVA to download the newer version.
