Great source of political information

The internet is a great source for political information.

One thing I like about the presidential race this time around is that there quite a bit more coverage over the internet...  this allows more people to get involved and see more information than just what they see on TV or in the newspaper.  TV tends to omit what ever they don't like or don't want you to see. and if you miss it cause it was on the news at 4pm and you don't get home till 5pm and go to bed before the 10pm news then you miss out on quite a bit of information.  Newspapers, you get them and the front page is the latest news and the rest is stories that have taken weeks to come up with ....

We watch the primaries and the caucuses on cnn.com or we catch the latest news from facebook, twitter, fark.com hours and days before you hear about it on TV or read about it in the paper....

I do understand that a majority of the voters are the older crowd because we start paying more attention to where our environment is going for our kids and grandkids but we are also the ones who don't use computers as much as the younger generation.

When I went to the caucuses this year I overheard many people who were voting for people but didn't know all the information and said that they did not get all that information via TV or Newspapers they either didn't have time for it or there was not enough information.

When I hear things like that I want to go ask them if they have a computer or would like one but I don't like to push my business on people its just not my style.  Tonight I was shown a page called  voteronpaul.us which is a site that allows you to see a map of everyone that says that they are going to vote for Ron Paul. I signed up just my name and my email address and zipcode (the email is for them to verify that you are you) and it puts a flag on the map indicating that you want to vote for Ron Paul.

Enough about my personal political views if you would like to be able to catch up on the people who are running for president here are a few sites that will give you more than you need to make your choices.

http://www.cnn.com/POLITICS/
http://www.fark.com/politics/  huge news site (articles on left  and discussions on the right)
http://www.youtube.com/    you can watch all debates and primaries there just search 2012 primaries
http://www.2012presidentialelectionnews.com/2012-republican-primary-schedule/   schedule for primaries

I hope everyone votes this year for whomever you do vote for, I just hope you don't vote for who is the most popular, the lesser of two evils or whom your parents voted for....  vote for whom you think is the right choice our kids and grandkids have to deal with our choices.
