Facebook scams

Okay Facebook fans....

Most of you are worried that someone may look in your mailbox or in your windows of your home or you may even get outraged when you hear that the government wants to tap your phone.   We all demand privacy when we want it.  Well the one place that no one thinks about is "online" there are way too many people that I see on a daily basis that just volunteerly give out their private information every single day.  One of these is through Facebook which you may not know it but at one time or another you gave out private information.  Every time you hit "allow" to start playing farmville or any other game on Facebook you are giving out your private information.

Access my information,  this allows them to gather information about you so that they can push ads in your face that pertain to you.  Post on my behalf,  this allows them to post information to all your other friends "spam" which means that you allowed them to have some control of your account.  Access my data at any time, well that just means that they can continuously collect that data so you may want to watch what you say privately cause its not private anymore.

Any program or website or app that wants you to hit allow to be able to see their picture or play their game I would just cancel it and just keep using Facebook like normal.

Several years ago there was something like this with the government and the cash for clunkers program, you would go to the website and it asks you to click accept to get into the website to get a voucher for your clunker

The whole point of this post is if anything asks you to hit okay no matter what it is .. make sure you know what it is for, it may be a virus it may be just annoying spam or it may be your stolen credit cards.
